84 dollar Chicken

We went shopping at the Coop on Saturday and they were having a slow morning. So, the cashiers were enjoying playing with Henry and they decided to weigh him on the scales at the check out. They weighed him as a chicken and he would cost 84 dollars if he were a chicken. He weighed 20 pounds clothed by the way. We will get an official measurement on Monday and I will let oyu know what that is.

Henry loved being outside the other day. It was very warm and sunny so, we all headed out into the yard to plant some lettuce and beets and working on getting the beds ready for summer. Henry tried out a snack of grass. He would get down on his tummy just to get the grass in his mouth.

We also found a nice juicy worm which we showed him. He watched it carefully and touched it rather gently. He of course tried to eat it a few times, but we stopped him. It was great fun to see him interacting with the worm.

From Eating dirty

Teeth

Henry has been working hard on cutting his two teeth on the bottom. Both are through the skin but not all the way. You can definitely feel them though. We will get a picture as soon as we can, but he likes to cover them with his tongue so you can not see them.

Library Lap time

Today, Henry I went to his first official baby lap time at the library. As usual he enjoyed watching the other children and he made friends with a few babies. He like the fast pass of singing, reading, playing bells, and moving. His favorite part was at the end, when the librarian came around with the bubble blower. He has never seen bubbles like that before and he watched them very carefully and even tried to touch them.
